What is an essential oil?

Essential oils have been used throughout history in many cultures for their medicinal and therapeutic benefits.

An essential oil is a highly concentrated compound derived from the natural oils in plants. In our modern world, essential oils are used for aromatherapy, in personal care products, household cleaners and much more.

How is this done?

The process of obtaining oils is called distillation, which is most commonly done with steam or water. Many parts of the plants can be used: leaves, stems, flowers, bark, and roots.

The essential oil portion contains the life force or prana of the plant. They also contain the therapeutic properties of the plant. Characteristics of the plant include scent and healing properties.

Plant Prana oils are so amazing. I can't say enough good things about them. They have helped me with many challeges in my life.
